TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE DESING AND CONSTRUCTION

We carry out the planning and execution of transportation infrastructure projects for the development of Colombia.

For the execution of the projects, we have the studies and designs department, which is responsible for planning, coordinating and carrying out the contracted studies and designs. Currently, as part of our commitment to process innovation, we have adopted the BIM methodology, in order to carry out a collaborative process in a digital environment, and thus, share updated and accurate information among the parties involved in a construction project.

We have qualified employees and state-of-the-art machinery that allow us to ensure the quality of the executed works, fulfilling our clients’ expectations.

We carry out the planning and execution of transportation infrastructure projects for the development of Colombia.

STRUCTURING, FINANCING, CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF CONCESSIONS

We have the capability to carry out integral projects with financial strength for the road construction industry. Thus, we have participated in 8 road concessions in Colombia, and the Illo Tacna concession in Peru, 5 of which are currently under execution.

This has allowed us to consolidate our experience in large-scale projects such as tunnels, viaducts, dual lane roads, airport runway paving, and urban development, among others.

At Pavimentos Colombia Laboratory, we contribute with the quality control of the standards required for the development of road infrastructure and large-scale civil engineering projects in the country.

We are committed to perform each and every one of the activities in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring the quality of tests and trials, with the strong motivation to comply with the NTC ISO/IEC 17025 standard and maintain the distinction awarded by the National Accreditation Body (ONAC) and the combined brand ILAC MRA, as an accredited laboratory, responsible and competent with the consistent operation of its activities, with impartiality and confidentiality.

We specialize in more than 70 laboratory tests:

Quality control of materials: soils, stone aggregates, concrete mixes, asphalt cement, asphalt mixes, and asphalt mixes.

PRODUCTION OF STONE

MATERIALS

For more than 25 years, we have been exploiting both river and quarry, complying with all applicable environmental and mining regulations for the production of stone materials. We also carry out soil substitution, reforestation and environmental care.

MIXES

We have 3 asphalt mix plants operating in Bogotá, Buga and Villavicencio, which allow us to generate the materials required for our projects. We produce asphalt mixes that comply with the country’s current regulations.

We also have 2 laboratories to control the mixture produced and thus guarantee its quality and compliance with the required specifications.

SELLAPAV – PAVEMENT SEALANT

Pavimentos Colombia’s laboratory team developed the Sellapav® sealant. This is an elastic adhesive sealant for hot application, composed of bituminous material, polymers and additives that promote excellent adhesion on the materials used for construction (concrete, asphalt mix), fulfilling the objective of waterproofing or sealing cracks and joints in the pavement.

Currently we have two types of sealant, one having a higher polymeric load in its formula.
